M.A. Alma Jeftić on Academic Exchange in Turkey

Senior Assistant of the Psychology program of IUS, Alma Jeftić M.A, was on Erasmus+ exchange at Istanbul Şehir University in Turkey from March 6 – 10, 2017.

Alma Jeftić delivered a series of lectures to students of this reputable University on topics in following fields: Social Psychology, Trauma Psychology and History, Memory and Psychology.

Apart from lectures for specific audience, Ms. Jeftić had an opportunity to give lectures about post-war BiH to a general audience, on aspects of socio-psychological theories of memory and interethnic relations. The lecture was part of current research of Ms. Jeftić , which are on the topic of collective memory and reconciliation.

 Public lecture for students, staff and other guests of the University, titled: ”Collective Memories of In-Group Wrongdoings: Case of Bosnia-Herzegovina”, took place on March 9, 2017, as part of series of lectures on topics of Identity, Society and Politics. The lecture attracted a large number of guests interested in the topic.
