IUS at the Maker Faire for the Second Year in a Row
For the second year in a row, International University of Sarajevo took part in the Maker Faire – the greatest show and tell festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness which took place on June 4th and 5th in Sarajevo.
Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who love to make things and are happy to present their work. From engineers, artists, scientists to startups and companies, Maker Faire is a place for all makers who want to show their hobbies, experiments, projects and skills.
This year, International University of Sarajevo presented itself at the Maker Faire through a number of interesting inventions and projects. The visitors of this fair, which included families, students, school children and tech enthusiasts, had the opportunity to get acquainted with drone simulations, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, robotics and genetics and bioengineering experiments presented by students, assistants and professors from computer science, software engineering, electronics and electrical engineering, psychology and genetics and bioengineering study programs. Furthermore, IUS’ newest addition to the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Science – Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering study program was promoted.
