Do Wo/Man Suffer Because of Wo/Man

On December 25 2014, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Bosnak, the Program Coordinator of English Language and Literature program at FASS, delivered a lecture titled “Do Wo/Man Suffer Because of Wo/Man”. With this lecture, ELIT program continued its regular ELIT Talks Lecture Series. 

In his lively and thoughtful lecture Dr. Bosnak merged classical and modern perceptions of the position of woman in the society. The presenter was skilful in referring to the scriptural, traditional, and literary texts in presenting various perceptions of women. 

Among the audience at this lecture were IUS Rector  Prof. Dr. Yucel Ogurlu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Korkut and Prof. Dr. Metin Toprak and academic staff and students from the faculties and programs of International University of Sarajevo.
