IUS Psychology Students Participate in Erasmus+ Summer School at the University of Almería

The Psychology (PSY) study program at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) is proud to highlight the successful participation of its students in the Erasmus+ Summer School held at the University of Almería, Spain.

As part of this international academic opportunity, Meliha Saračević, a Master’s graduate in Psychology, together with Sara Humić and Aldin Gusinac, fourth-year Psychology students, participated in a two-week programme designed to promote interdisciplinary learning, cultural exchange, and international collaboration.
During the programme, students attended courses covering a wide range of contemporary topics, including Applied Entrepreneurship, Artificial Intelligence, Critical Reading and Writing, Project Management for NGOs, and Biology and Healing. Through these courses, they had the opportunity to engage with new academic perspectives, develop transferable skills, and explore connections between different fields of knowledge.

Erasmus+ Summer School gathered students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, with participants joining from countries including Canada, Mozambique, Chile, Australia, India, Albania, Ukraine, Palestine, Tunisia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. This international setting encouraged cross-cultural dialogue, the exchange of ideas, and the creation of lasting academic and personal connections.

Participation in the Erasmus+ Summer School represents an important contribution to students’ academic and professional development, while also strengthening the international dimension of education at IUS. Experiences such as these provide students with valuable opportunities to broaden their horizons, enhance their competencies, and become active members of the global academic community.
